Covers, edges, corners, all rubbed; joints are starting; foxing. Older ink stamp from "P. R. Corbbin's Half Price Book Stand, Corner of Pratt and Light Streets, Baltimore...Old Books Bought, Sold, & Exchanged" on the front free endpaper. The American Farmer's, The Rolling Year or the Farmers' Calendar, is near the end of the volume. There are several pages of illustrations that are printed in red or blue. The publisher's announcement at the conclusion of the book, as well as the advertisement for The Cultivator, the illustration of an eagle, and a reprint of the Declaration of Independence, with added illustrations, are all in blue type. The concluding fold out is the facsimile signatures of the signers of the Declaration of Independence. In the announcement, the publisher states that the Family Instructor was "abandoned," and is excluded from the volume, and will be published in another volume "provided the success of the present work should encourage the undertaking." In good condition.
