It was owned by Michael J. Pearce. Corners rubbed, slightly soiled; share holder's signature on title label above number of shares. In better than good condition. An ephemeral piece, assumed predecessor of a building and loan/savings and loan association in which members were able to acquire shares to obtain a mortgage. The movie, "It's a Wonderful Life," is a good example of this type of mortgage.
