Bound in uniform brown morocco with blind stamped decorative panels on the covers, titling in gilt on the spine, all edges marbled; marbled endpapers. Edges of volume one rubbed, covers slightly rubbed, corners bumped, skinned; slightly foxed frontispiece, with offset on title page; volume two: front cover joint torn starting at the headcap for about two inches, edges and covers rubbed, more so than volume one, spine slightly faded, corners bumped, skinned, second flyleaf folded at fore edge, frontispiece slightly foxed, tissue guard too, offset on second flyleaf and title page, several pages with pieces of bottom edge, and corners torn away, but with no impact. Still, in better than good condition.
