There are 19 sleeves containing 3 pages of introductory text on Briway letterhead and 16 pages of 3x5" captioned photos, 8x10" captioned aerials and pictures of Briway cars, and architectural illustrations and renderings. Laid in are two aerial views of a city by Paul Tomlin. Obviously a promotional piece. In very good condition.

Spine slightly faded, minor wear to covers, one corner slightly frayed; prior owner's neat signature on the front free end paper; occasional foxing. A very good copy.
Cambridge: Harvard University Press, 1937. Frontis, 135p, maps, plans, illustrations. 25cm. Maroon cloth with titling in gilt on the spine. Former library copy with pocket, due slip, notation and embossed seal. Two corners bumped, slightly rubbed. In very good condition. The benefits and functions of some of the best examples of parkways at the time were examined for this study. Included are the Boston Metropolitan District, Kansas City, and Westchester, New York. Published posthumously. Nolen died in early 1937.
