Bound in red blind stamped cloth with gilt titling; repeated on the spine. Slightly soiled, edges rubbed, corners bumped, skinned; prior owner's name on the front cover pastedown. In very good condition. The cover title of this book is "Mamma's Picture Book." The title page, "Mamma's Picture Book for Her Dear Children" is bound with a frontispiece before the collection of fables. One copy of this book can be found at the American Antiquarian Society's library, but their record starts with "Stories of Hunters and Hunting," which is the first story in the book and corresponds to this book suggesting the title page and frontis in both copies are misbound.
