Letter from the governor and Council of Maryland, transmitting a report of the commissioners appointed to survey the river Potomac: January 28, 1823. Ordered to lie upon the table.
Washington [DC]: Printed by Gales & Seaton, 1823. 53, [1] p, [2] fold out tables. At head of title [46]. 24 cm. Stitched wrappers. The commission was established primarily to examine the affairs of the Potomac Company, the precursor to the Chesapeake and Ohio Company, which was formed in 1824. Possibly removed from a larger volume with two small holes at the spine. Still this copy is unopened with foxing to a few leaves, penciled numbers on front cover; very desirable and in very good condition.
