6 leaves [legal notes]; 8 leaves[songs]; 10 leaves [music]. Leather back and tips; marbled boards. Leather is rubbed and dry, bottom board detached. In good condition. Legal cases by James Riddle who was born in Adams County PA, graduated from Princeton University and was admitted to the bar in 1784. He served as presiding judge of the Chambersburg Judicial district from 1794-1804. Later he was in private practice. He died in about 1837.
