Bound in textured green cloth with thick and thin blind stamped borders at the edges of the front covers; raised bands with embossed decorations and titling in gilt on the spines; all edges marbled; marbled endpapers. Conjoint: volume one has rippled cloth on the bottom board, a short tear at the top edge of the front free endpaper and a small chip in the bottom cover pastedown; volume five has one slightly rubbed corner; one plate is pulled in volumes three and five; all five volumes have a damp stain on the bottom edge corner that is almost indiscernible. Bright covers and spines and in very good condition.
